The Atlanta Hawks will have to do without Zaza Pachulia for the remainder of the season.  He has opted for season-ending surgery.  The 29-year old center has been bothered by a sore achilles and has decided to have surgery to correct the issue.  He will not be back this year, and he may not be back in Atlanta.According to Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Pachulia has not yet scheduled a surgery date, but because he is a free agent after this season, there is a good chance he has played his last game as a member of the Hawks.  Pachulia is a fan-favorite, but the injury could mean the end of his career in Atlanta.Pachulia has spent the past eight seasons in Atlanta.  He has averaged 6.6 points and 5.8 rebounds per game in his career.  This season, Pachulia was averaging 5.9 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. The injury has been bothering Pachulia since late January.  He has missed time off and on as he sought medical treatment and options.  In the end, Pachulia did not want to chance the injury lingering into next season.  Surgery should ensure he'll be ready for the 2013-14 season. Atlanta Hawks 1980s Dance Video

Somehow, I had never seen this before until today.  Fast forward to 2:27 for a dope sax solo or fast forward to 3:02 for closeup of the team including Doc Rivers' dancing at 3:12.  Love the Jon Koncak, Scott Hastings and Tree Rollins sightings.  Three 7 footers for one team means you KNOW it's gotta be the 80s or 90s. Not bad for a team that never made it past the second...
