Per NBA.com it was made public today that the Minnesota Timberwolves have released Lazar Hayward.
The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced the team has waived forward Lazar Hayward. Hayward signed with the Timberwolves as a free agent on Dec. 31. The 6-6 forward appeared in two games for Minnesota and totaled 2 points, 2 assists and 1 rebound in 12 minutes.
