Hornets 98, Trail Blazers 96
Ryan Anderson capped a 20-point performance with a layup as he was fouled with 1.8 seconds left, and the New Orleans Hornets snapped a three-game skid with a 98-96 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday night.
Anderson also hit a 3 with 15.6 seconds left that gave the Hornets a 95-93 lead, but Portland rookie Damian Lillard reached the 20-point mark for a sixth straight...

Ryan Anderson says Magic never tried to keep him
As Ryan Anderson sat on the podium inside Amway Center to accept his Most Improved Player of the Year Award with Otis Smith flanked to one side, it seemed a sure thing the Magic would find a way to keep the young sharpshooter. Smith said as much when the question of Anderson's future came up. He wanted Ryan Anderson in a Magic uniform for a very long time. Even then, it was...
Ryan Anderson makes return to Orlando
Ryan Anderson played his last game with the Magic seven months ago. When he returns to Orlando on Wednesday, it might seem more like seven years ago.
Management has changed. The coaching staff is completely different. Only two Magic players are expected to get minutes who had been teammates with Anderson last May.
Its going to be different, obviously, said Anderson, a forward who...

Ryan Anderson is not the Most Improved Player
Ryan Anderson still gets overlooked in opponent gameplans. No matter how many 20-plus point, 3-point barrages he puts up, teams invariably leave him open and Anderson invariably finds a way to get himself involved on the offensive end.
He may very well win the NBA's Most Improved Player Award. As a young player given the chance to shine, he fits the archetype of players who...

Anderson enjoying breakout season for Magic
When Ryan Anderson came to the Orlando Magic in June of 2009, he was the "other guy" in the Vince Carter trade.
The proven veteran Carter was coming home to Central Florida to be the Magic's 20 point per game scorer, and Anderson, an unproven player entering his second year in the league, was an overlooked throw-in in the deal.
But now, 2 12 years later, Carter is...
