Nets F Williams leaves with eye injury
New Jersey Nets forward Shelden Williams left Wednesday's game against the Indiana Pacers with an eye injury.
Williams, who appeared to be poked in the eye, was taken to Hackensack Medical Center for evaluation.
The 28-year-old Williams entered Wednesday's game averaging 4.9 points and 6.3 rebounds per game.

Shelden Williams signs with the Nets
The New Jersey Nets on Tuesday signed free agent forward Shelden Williams.
A five-year NBA veteran who has played for six teams, Williams has averaged 4.5 points and 4.6 rebounds in 303 games. Selected out of Duke by Atlanta with the fifth overall pick in the 2006 NBA draft, Williams was traded to Sacramento during the 2007-08 season.
