10 Worst Moves and Non Moves Of The Off-Season

The problem I have with this article is the off-season has not ended. So it is much to soon to say that the Eagles made a mistake.

Maybe they should have shopped him sooner. But who's to say they didn't try sooner then anyone else knew about. I think the eagles took a strong stance with a trade concerning Sheppard. They said that they would only trade him for a fair deal. So either a number one draft choice or a player that performs on the same level as Lito.

I still believe the Eagles will eventually trade Lito. The ideal date for this transaction would be before training camp. But the Eagles could trade Sheppard any date from now until the beginning of the 2008 season. Remember they made the trade for Stallworth right before the start of the 2006 season. So anything until then is an open possibility.

Its also a strong possibility that they just may hold onto Sheppard. After all with all the Top-level receivers in the NFL today, having three Pro Bowl cornerbacks can't hurt at all.

Also take into consideration that we have not passed June 1st which is usually a big day for NFL trades during the off-season.
