Week 1 of the highly-anticipated 2013 NFL regular season is in the books. As expected, we witnessed just about everything but the kitchen sink—from hard-nosed defensive snoozefests like the Seattle Seahawks’ 12-7 road win over the Carolina Panthers to exciting thrillers that left fans on edge of their seats like the San Francisco 49ers‘ 34-28 victory over the Green Bay Packers and bona fide beatdowns like the Denver Broncos‘ 49-27 win over the reigning Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens to heart-wrenching letdowns or great escapes (depending on how you look at it) like the New England Patriots‘ last-second 23-21 win over the Buffalo Bills and the Houston Texans’ 31-28 comeback win (which included 24 unanswered points) over the San Diego Chargers. BEST OF MAXIM
No one had any idea how Terrelle Pryor would play in the Raiders opener against the Colts today.
The good news for Oakland is that Pryor played well and put them in position to win, but they ended up losing a close game.
Pryor completed 19 of 29 passes for 217 yards, 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions. He also ran for 112 yards on 13 carries.
Even though the Raiders lost, you have...
We all know the game is changing. It is becoming a position of speed and agilty rather than just a gun slinger mentality at the quarterback position. Well this week in the NFL a total of 9 black quarterbacks will start. Here is a list: EJ Manuel – Bills Colin Kaepernick – Niners Russell Wilson […]
Everyone doubts Terrelle Pryor can help the Raiders this season, and I think a lot of people have happily gone along with this assessment, because haha, the Raiders, amirite? Pryor won the starting job from Matt Flynn this preseason, but around the league, he hasn’t received many plaudits and hasn’t mustered much confidence.
But why? What’s the reason nobody thinks Pryor is...
Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor showed exactly why he won the starting job during his debut against the Indianapolis Colts. Pryor finished 19/29 for 217 yards with 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions while adding 112 yards on the ground on 13 carries. During this run he dove for the first down and leveled this old man that was a part of the chain gang on the sidelines...
Terrelle Pryor threw for 217 yards, one touchdown and broke a franchise record Sunday. That wasn't good enough for Oakland's new quarterback.
After watching Andrew Luck scramble 19 yards for the go-ahead score with 5:20 to go, Pryor made two costly mistakes on the Raiders' final series. Oakland wound up losing 21-17 at Indianapolis.
''I'm disappointed in...
The Oakland Raiders got one of their two biggest offensive playmakers back at practice.
Quarterback Terrelle Pryor returned to practice Wednesday and was working with the first team after missing last week's game with a concussion, while running back Darren McFadden is still sidelined by a hamstring injury that prevented him from finishing last week's game.
Terrelle Pryor may have finally arrived. Yes Pryor still struggles to read defenses, and makes most of his plays with his legs, but Pryor is a long way from the guy he was when he was banished by Ohio State, and selected in the supplemental draft. Pryor has come a long way and has Al Davis to thank. According to Peter King and TheMMQB, Pryor says “he owes Davis, and wants to...
Everybody knew we were going to beat the Raiders. Right? It was looking good in the first half, but something happened in the second half and Terrelle Pryor was on the loose way too much. I’m glad the Colts came away with a win, but it wasn’t as one-sided as this drunk Colts fan would’ve liked.
Dwayne Allen was a grown damn man when he scored the touchdown up the...
One thing stood out in the Raiders loss to the Colts, quarterback Terrelle Pryor proved the late Al Davis was correct in pick him as a potential franchise quarterback in 2011. Pryor rushed for 112 yards, the most ever by a Raiders quarterback, and passed for 217 yards, becoming the seventh quarterback to throw for at least 200 yards and run for at least 100 in a regular-season...
So here we are ready for NFL Week 2 and I am sure some of you are already in a panic over some of the performances of high draft picks. Well, all I can say is it's a long season and 1 week can't be written as bible.
Let’s start with this: six of Week’1 top 10 fantasy defenses were owned in less than 20 percent of Yahoo! Leagues.
Let that wash over you. And while you’re at it, throw that inconvenient fact in the faces of anyone who insists their seventh round selection of the Seattle Seahawks defense was the correct one.

Week 1 of the fantasy football season is now in the books, and we saw a couple of surprises throughout the week. Peyton Manning kicked the NFL season into high gear with an insane 462 yards passing and 7 touchdowns, ending the week as the highest scorer with 46 standard scoring points. The only other entrants...
