As a young sports fan, I loved the NFL the most in the 1970s because of the Dallas Cowboys. Before their line got set, it was interesting to watch the '70s Cowboys' offensive line all raise up in a synchronized fashion.Tom Landry was the Cowboys' head coach in the 1970s. Dressed in his tailored suit and fedora, Landry would stand with arms crossed on the sideline. He invented the 4-3 defense and took it to the Dallas Cowboys organization. This 4-3 formation sparked the famous "Doomsday Defense" in Dallas.Clint Murchison - the owner in the '70s - let an innovator, such as Cowboys' GM Tex Schramm, run his Cowboys team the right way. Unlike Jerry Jones, Murchison didn't have near the amount of off the field troubles as in the 1990s. Schramm changed the NFL with microphones for the referees, instant replay, and those famous cheerleaders.Quarterback Roger Staubach helped shape America's Team. Staubach was also known as "Roger The Dodger" and "Captain Comeback." Staubach, the United States Naval Academy grad, retired from the NFL with the second best passer rating to Otto Graham.Fans will never forget that kid drafted from the Pittsburgh Panthers, Tony Dorsett. In Dorsett's rookie year, 1977, the Cowboys won Super Bowl XII against the Denver Broncos.Between Tom Landry and Roger Staubach, it was pure enjoyment to witness the shotgun formation for the first time. In the late '70s with receivers Tony Hill and Drew Pearson, the shotgun was the greatest turning point for offenses in the NFL.That "Doomsday Defense" included players Randy White, Ed "Too Tall" Jones, and Harvey Martin - more memorable than those of the 1990s.The 1970s Cowboys held an overall record of 105-39. Five Super Bowl appearances and two Super Bowl wins. Sweetheart's Stuff   Well yippie! Let's jump on this horse, now. Will we be replacing the Dawg flag with a big star? When I was a child, I had a Cowboys' sweatshirt - my mother only shops the clearance rack. As of this decade, I know a few more things of Dallas:                                 South Fork (I would hate to mow that yard)                            Cliff Barnes didn't shoot J.R.John Ross is like his daddy - From Tip to Tale !Bobby's new wife's daughter is a slutChristopher looks gay..?J.R. was just misunderstoodP.S. New Season starts in 2014 - I know, can you believe so far away?P.S.S - J.R. so SEXYSincerely,Sweetheart
