The Jacksonville Jaguars are at a crossing point. They have been sold to new ownership, and will start 2012 with a new head coach. They slipped a little in 2011 going fro ma 2010 record of 8-8 to 5-11. Something is clearly wrong and from the looks of things that something is probably on the offense. Overall the defense put up pretty sound numbers but the offense struggled and this team had at least two bad losses (Cleveland and Carolina) that it should have won. Beyond that the talent level on the offense has to rise for this team to overcome the hump of being an also ran in the AFC South. Mike Mularkey is the new Head Coach and he is something of an offensive guru. Cleary the new ownership of this team hopes he can work his magic on QB Blaine Gabbert. They are going to have to surround Gabbert with lots of talent. We have seen other NFL teams take a QB high in the draft and then work to get him elite talent all over the offense.
