The 2011 regular NFL schedule is over and we can now look forward to the 2012 NFL schedule. While the exact times and dates of exact games cannot be decided as of yet, we already know which teams will play which teams at home and away as the final seeding of the various divisions have come into focus.
The New Orleans Saints wrapped up the 2011 NFL regular season by winning the NFC South. QB Drew Brees had a record setting regular season. Heading into 2012, the Saints will square off against teams from the NFC East, AFC West and at large games against the NFC West and NFC North.

The New Orleans Saints have set an NFL record for the most yards of offense in a season. The 2000 St. Louis Rams held the previous mark of 7,075. New Orleans eclipsed that number in the second quarter of Sunday's season finale against the Carolina Panthers on a pass from Drew Brees to Robert Meachem, reaching 7,081.
Already in this game, there have been a flurry of numbers and milestones. With Alex Smith's 28-yard touchdown pass to Michael Crabtree in the second quarter, Smith went over 3,000 yards for the season, a first for him. Smith is only about 2,000 yards behind Drew Brees.
