Waiver Wire Pick-ups of The WeekFor the full version, head over to FFChamps.com, or click here.  QUARTERBACKSRyan Tannehill, Miami DolphinsWeek 9 stats: 22/38, 290 passing yards, 1 TD, 0 INTTannehill hung tough at Indy and hasn’t chucked an interception in any of his last four starts. The rookie field general is worth a look if you are in a tight spot at quarterback, as he has a great matchup in Week 10 against Tennessee, who rank 27th in pass defense and surrendered a whopping 20 touchdowns through the air. RUNNING BACKSIsaac Redman, Pittsburgh SteelersWeek 9 stats: 26 carries, 147 yards, 1 TDRedman ran wild with both Mendenhall and Dwyer on the shelf vs. the Giants, and he will stay in the mix for playing time when those ailing backs return to action. He is a solid waiver wire target at this time of the fantasy season when the talent pool at running back is dry, and he would remain a hot play if he draws another start in Week 10 against the Chiefs, who are being push around for 126 rushing yards per tilt.    Taiwan Jones/Marcel Reece, Oakland RaidersThe Raiders once remarked that Jones has game-breaking ability, but are yet to unleash him in their backfield with just two touches through six appearances. Reece, on the other hand, led Oakland with eight receptions for 95 yards in Week 9 vs. Tampa Bay and ranks fourth on the team with 26 catches for the campaign. With Darren McFadden diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain and Mike Goodson dealing with an ankle injury as well, someone has to carry the backfield load for Oakland, and we favor Reece over Jones as the preferred waiver wire target, especially for PPR.   Joique Bell, Detroit LionsWeek 9 stats: 13 carries, 73 yards, 1 TD / 3 receptions, 36 yards, 0 TDBell ended up leading Detroit in rushing vs. Jacksonville, but that is solely because the game got out of hand early. You still can’t deny that he took advantage of his opportunity to show what he can do though, and we like him as a flier, especially for PPR as he tallied 23 catches on the year.  WIDE RECEIVERSCecil Shorts, Jacksonville JaguarsWeek 9 stats: 3-56-0Week 8 stats: 8-116-0Week 7 stats: 4-79-1The Jaguars invested the No. 5 pick in April’s Draft in Justin Blackmon, but he is being upstaged by Shorts, as the small-school star out of Mount Union has led the team in receiving in each of the last three weeks.Even with the return of Laurent Robinson cutting into Shorts’ targets, we still like him as a waiver wire grab, especially if you need a big-play threat in your roto-corps at receiver. Michael Floyd, Arizona CardinalsWeek 9 stats: 5-80-0Floyd made an impression on the stat sheet vs. Green Bay, and head coach Ken Whisenhunt stated that the prized rookie will see an increased role going forward after being brought along slowly early in the year.Floyd has elite tools and many experts felt he was the best receiver in the 2012 Draft Class, and is worth stashing as a fantasy reserve as he can make an impact during the stretch run. T.Y. Hilton, Indianapolis ColtsWeek 9 stats: 6-102-1Donnie Avery went down with a hip injury vs. Miami, and Hilton took advantage of the boost in targets with a strong outing. The Florida International product possesses great instincts and “blink and you miss him” quickness, and quarterback Andrew Luck even praised him following Sunday’s performance by calling him a phenomenal player.Hilton makes for a hot waiver wire target, especially if Avery needs to miss some time. TIGHT ENDSDwayne Allen, Indianapolis ColtsWeek 9 stats: 6-75-0Allen has been the better fantasy weapon over fellow rookie Coby Fleener thus far, and Allen really stood out vs. Miami with Fleener down with a shoulder injury. Fleener has already been ruled out for Week 10 vs. Jacksonville, meaning Allen’s stock will remain elevated. Solid pick-up if you need help at the position. Brandon Myers, Oakland RaidersWeek 9 Stats: 8-59-2Myers has been targeted 33 times over the last four games, and his stock gets a jolt after collecting two touchdowns vs. Tampa Bay. He is now considered a borderline No. 1 tight end, and should be scooped up if you need reinforcements at the position. Damaged Goods, Feel Free To DropQB Christian Ponder, RB Felix Jones, RB Alex Green, WR Donnie Avery, TE Coby Fleener
