With the 2012 NFL regular season concluded, the New York Jets can now look ahead to see what the 2013 regular season schedule will be and which opponents will be on tap for next season. While it remains to be seen what wholesale changes will be made in New York this offseason, the team now looks ahead towards the start of free agency and the 2013 NFL Draft. The Jets were one of 20 teams that failed to qualify for post-season play and ending their season in utter chaos.
Teams from the AFC East will be playing their usual home and away series with divisional opponents next season. In addition, teams will also be playing teams from the AFC North and the NFC South. All teams receive two At-Large games, which are determined by final standings in their respective divisions. At-Large games are against the AFC West and the AFC South in 2013.

Reports have already surfaced today indicating that New York Jets offensive coordinator Tony Sparano will be fired. According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, the Jets are expected to go after Chargers head coach Norv Turner as their next offensive coordinator. Turner isn’t a very good head coach, but he’s been a proven offensive play call for years now. Need NFL Tickets...
MARK SANCHEZ CAN'T FIND END ZONE AS JETS LOCK UP WORST SEASON IN REX RYAN ERA. ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Those who subscribed to the logic that Sunday's regular season finale against the Buffalo Bills would be Mark Sanchez's final "try out" to the organization -- and potentially others -- that he can be a starter in the NFL were disappointed as the clock stuck...
Following Sunday’s 28-9 loss to the Buffalo Bills — and an embarrassing 6-10 season — NY Jets head coach Rex Ryan was asked why he never started Tim Tebow as quarterback despite Mark Sanchez’s poor performance on the field. His answer was telling: “I'm trying to win the game, and that's it,” Ryan said. “If I thought Tebow would have helped us win the game...
Mark Sanchez wants to stay right where he is. So does Darrelle Revis.
The two players are among the New York Jets' biggest uncertainties heading into next season with Sanchez coming off a miserable year and Revis recovering from a serious knee injury while also having a sticky contract situation.
Sanchez says Monday that he ''absolutely'' believes he can lead...
Rex Ryan is off the hot seat, at least for another year. Jets owner Woody Johnson announced today that general manager Mike Tennenbaum would not be back with the team. Johnson released the following statement,
"Mike devoted 15 years of service to the Jets, and I want to thank him for his hard work and dedication. Although he helped guide us to two consecutive AFC Championship...
Black Monday has rolled through the New York/New Jersey area, although Jets head coach Rex Ryan appears to have avoided the dreaded day after the regular season. The Jets will retain their head coach into next season, but GM Mike Tannenbaum is not as lucky.
Jets owner Woody Johnson has decided to fire Tannenbaum after serving 15 years in one capacity or another with the team. He...
Jets announced they fired GM Mike Tannenbaun and are keeping HC Rex Ryan.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) December 31, 2012Well this is bad news for us Patriots fans. Mainly because the Jets are making moves that make sense. If they were to stick with everyone they have now and keep Mark Sanchez as their starter, that would be amazing. Alas, after a terrible collapse of going from...
The Jets have fired GM Mike Tannenbaum meaning he won't be stuck trying to figure out what to do with that #9 pick. Here's the 2013 NFL Draft Order.

Even with a recent report that Jets quarterback Tim Tebow could end up with the Jacksonville Jaguars next season, Arthur Arkush of ProFootballWeekly.com says it’s probably a stretch to believe that he’ll be a Jaguar in 2013.
After doing a little digging, we hear that categorizing his arrival in Jacksonville after the season as imminent is a major stretch.
