Team Sanders’ Youthful Energy Gives It Pro Bowl Advantage Over Team Rice

The first year of a new Pro Bowl setup will probably give football fans and casual sports fans an added reason to check in on the NFL’s annual All-Star game. Will the different arrangement of the participating rosters create a competitive context and a more attractive product? If the answer is no, this game could soon become extinct. The 2014 edition will feature a new format in...

Brandon Marshall Challenges Deion Sanders

Chicago Bears Football – Brandon Marshall laid it all on the table  after he was drafted by Team Rice for the 2014 Pro-Bowl. He seemed pretty damn confident that Deion Sanders couldn’t keep up. Brandon Marshall Challenges Deion Sanders Video That brings up an interesting question. How would Deion Sanders and Brandon Marshall match up against each other? Deion Sanders Career...

What do you do when you’re playing in the Pro Bowl as a member of Team Sanders who so happens to be one of your football idols, and you make a great interception off Team Rice quarterback Phillip Rivers? You decide to bust out Deion Sanders’ ‘Prime Time’ dance celebration to pay homage to your hero. And that’s exactly what Arizona Cardinals’ corner back Patrick Peterson...

NFL Pro Bowl: 5 Reasons NOT To Watch The Game

The 2014 NFL Pro Bowl is all set for Sunday night. Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders have hand-picked their rosters, the players are ready to go, and it’s the only football on tomorrow night so that’s the main reason fans will turn on the game. The reality is though that the NFL Pro Bowl is by far the worst All-Star game of the four major professional sports in the country and it’s...

Team Rice Beats Team Sanders 22-21 In A Very Competitive 2014 Pro Bowl Game

The 2014 Pro Bowl included several changes this year and it resulted in perhaps the most competitive game that has been played in years as Team Rice knocked off Team Sanders 22-21 at Aloha Stadium in Hawaii. Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray caught a 20-yard touchdown pass from Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith with less than a minute to play in regulation and Carolina...

Browns' Gordon, Cameron score TD's in Pro Bowl

HONOLULU (AP) -- Dallas running back DeMarco Murray caught a 20-yard pass for a touchdown and Carolina running back Mike Tolbert plunged into the end zone for a 2-point conversion with less than 1 minute to give Jerry Rice a win over Deion Sanders in the first schoolyard-style Pro Bowl on Sunday. Baltimore's Justin Tucker missed a 67-yard field goal on the game's final play...

Trickery in Store for Pro Bowl

The league hopes up-tempo practices and talk and encouragement from star coaches Deion Sanders and Jerry Rice will lead to a better game on Sunday.

Sarcastic Pro Bowl edition

I’d much rather be writing about what the Ravens need to do in order to win their second straight Super Bowl but in this instance it’s going to be about Team Sanders in the upcoming Pro Bowl. In case you have missed it the NFL has done away with the traditional AFC v NFC format and has brought you a brand new “draft” type of setup. Legends Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders are...

Darrelle Revis Says He’s the Best CB in the Game

Revis isn’t the best corner in the game any more, but I understand why he has to have that type of mentality. But, deep down he knows he has fallen slightly, he isn’t mediocre…ME—D—OKER, but just very good.  “I feel like I’m the best,” he said. “Deion Sanders probably feels like he is the best. Everybody has their own personal opinion. And that is how you go with...

Minnesota Vikings Cheerleader Gets Sexy at 2014 Pro Bowl

Holy ****, did you know the Pro Bowl is this weekend? No, really. No, I mean I'm really asking that. I didn't. I honestly thought it was still after the Super Bowl for some reason. Certainly, I've seen the poop that has been shoved down our raw throats by the NFL this year of how the new "cool" Pro Bowl is going to be like REAL fantasy football (So ... football...

NFL Pro Bowl Roster Comparison: Team Jerry Rice Owns Team Deion Sanders

The NFL Pro Bowl took a backyard approach to picking teams this season. Rather than splitting up the squads by AFC and NFC, Pro Football Hall of Famers Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders drafted the teams with the help of some captains. Sanders picked Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles and Houston Texans defensive lineman J.J. Watt as his captains, while Rice chose...

NFL Betting: Pro Bowl Odds Preview On Odd Game Format

Once upon a time the NFL Pro Bowl kinda meant something. Players didn't make the big money they do now, so the extra cash for the winners acted as motivation. And conference pride, to a degree, still mattered. But over the years, as the money became meaningless and pride waned, the Pro Bowl devolved into a semi-glorified scrimmage, and more recently an outright farce. So in an...

The Pro Bowl is awful

Tonight is the night where the NFL tries to maintain our interest by airing a game featuring the best players in the game. The players don’t want to play, it doesn’t matter who wins, and it’s barely football. In the olden days, the Pro Bowl was played a week after the Super Bowl. Knowing it was the last NFL competition, we were going to see for several months, people watched...
