49er Fans Thinking What I'm Thinking?

You know sitting here, I'm wondering if our season is really going to be any different then the last 3, hell I can go back even further but I'm starting from 05 because of our first round pick, you know that QB with brains for days and no guts or heart. We hear or read daily about different players probably going to the inactive list but as a whole, does anyone really know how the team is coming along and gelling? In years past we always heard things about our receivers looking good, or our TE making good progress but this year overall it's pretty quiet in the news department and that's scary. Has anything been said about Isaac Bruce, you remember him the older vet who most 49er fans anointed as our number 1 receiver because clearly we had no other but things coming out of 49er training camp shows that Josh Morgan has had a good camp and showed that he deserves to start although reading what messages Mike Nolan is sending he doesn't seem to think so and he's seem intent on keeping Bryant Johnson's job open now that he's finally practicing, sorry Mickey go with how has been there, go with the job that consistently has been catching all through camp and someone that J.T. O'Sullivan has gotten comfortable with and knows just a tad more. How has our so called future great TE Vernon Davis been doing, hard to tell in preseason games because they aren't playing with the starters to know if they are bonding with each other, times like this I surely miss Brent Jones, OMG what a name from the past but yes Brent I miss you and if this season Davis fails to live up to his potential I won't be the only one day dreaming about Brent Jones. You know I stated these blogs hoping to interject some sort of life into my favorite team but as the season gets closer the more I see that trying to see my 49er dynasty through rose colored glasses is futile and that they are as bad as everyone perceives them to be.
