Niners defensive tackle Ray McDonald is active for todays game against the Giants after missing last weeks win over the Redskins with a hamstring injury. It is not known if McDonald will start or will be replaced in the starting lineup by Ricky Jean Francois. McDonald, who was limited in practice this week, has been out on the field during pregame warm-ups and appeared to be have no problem running at around full speed.
