TEAMS: San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks
The San Francisco 49ers enter tonight’s matchup with the
Arizona Cardinals fairly healthy, as running back Frank Gore (ribs), wide
receiver Mario Manningham (shoulder) and quarterback Alex Smith (right finger)
are all probable to play, reports Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com.
Running back Frank Gore and
wide receiver Mario Manningham are expected to start Monday night against the Arizona Cardinals after
each player went through a full week of practice.
A rib injury sustained during last week’s contest against
the Seattle Seahawks didn’t cause Gore to miss any practice time. So far this
season the 29-year-old has rushed for 601 yards and four touchdowns while
catching 15 passes for 110 yards.
After sitting out against the Seahawks, Manningham was able
to return to practice at full capacity this week. Over five games played the
wide receiver has 24 receptions for 258 yards and one touchdown.
Linebacker Tavares Gooden (elbow) is also listed as probable
for the 49ers, while offensive lineman Joe Staley is questionable to play due
to an illness.

Jim Harbaugh on Alex Smith doubters: It’s just a lot of gobble, gobble, turkey
San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh is already in the mood for Thanksgiving. He had turkey on the brain following a dominating 24-3 win over the Arizona Cardinals on Monday night, but it had more to do with his quarterback carving up a defense than someone carving a bird.
Alex Smith looked as sharp as he has all season, torching the Cardinals for 232 yards and three touchdowns...

Randy Moss makes former football player “look stupid”
Jason WhitneyRandy Moss had an incredible 47-yard touchdown catch and run against the Cardinals
Right before Randy Moss lit up the Cardinals secondary for an electric 47-yard touchdown catch and run, former running back Derrick Ward was commenting on how Jon Gruden wouldn’t stop gushing about Moss still being a relevant. To be honest, Derrick Ward is right seeing that the San Francisco...
Frank Gore With The Filipino Flash
This dudes fast Juan…
Frank Gore stopped by the gym to check out boxing sensation Nonito Donaire AKA The Filipino Flash. If you haven’t seen this guy fight you are doing a disservice to yourself. Donaire is one of the best P4P fighters in the world, but gets overshadowed by another Filipino fighter most people are familiar with.

Early Doucet Gets Lit Up On Monday Night Football By Dashon Goldson
Arizona Cardinal Early Doucet took a massive hit on Monday Night Football, and was lucky to get up after. Doucet took a pass across the middle and was met by 49ers’ Dashon Goldson in a most unpleasant manner. The hit looked to be a clean one, but on a defenseless receiver. It was clear that Goldson led with his shoulder and not his helmet, which should prevent a phone call when...
Jim Harbaugh gives the weirdest press conference answer in the history of press conferences
The San Francisco 49ers defeated the Arizona Cardinals on Monday Night Football last night largely thanks to the excellent performance of QB Alex Smith. The often maligned quarterback was 18/19 for 232 yards and 3 TDs. After the game, 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh was asked about Smith's confidence and putting questions about his performances to rest. Harbaugh offered this wisdom...
Jim Harbaugh Thinks Alex Smith Has Quieted 'Jive-Turkey Gobblers' Who Questioned Quarterback's Confidence
It's not even November, but San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh already has turkey on his mind.
The outspoken leader of the NFC West leaders had some interesting things to say about the psyche of his quarterback, Alex Smith, following his team's 24-3 win over division rival Arizona on Monday night in the desert.
Harbaugh was asked whether he thought...
49ers crush Cards, set sights on bigger prize
GLENDALE, Ariz. There was a cute little storyline making the NFL rounds the past few weeks. The much picked-upon, oft-mocked NFC West had grown a hard-hitting, defensive identity, with four teams ranked among the leagues top nine in total defense heading into the eighth week of the season.
Leave it to 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh to toss a wet blanket on that hype.

Smith almost perfect, 49ers flatten Arizona 24-3
So much for Alex Smith and his lost confidence.
''It was in my closet,'' he said. ''I found it.''
Indeed.
Smith was almost perfect in San Francisco's 24-3 victory over the Arizona Cardinals on Monday night. But for a dropped pass, he would have been.
The 49ers quarterback completed 18 of 19 passes for 232 yards and three touchdowns after a...

Domination in Arizona. 49ers win 24-3
The 49ers went into Arizona in prime time and dominated their division rival 24-3. The 49ers all around embarrassed the Cardinals.
The 49ers head into their bye week at 6-2 up two games in the West and now at 2-0 in the division. Outside of taking some sacks he should not have, Alex Smith had a solid outing. It should be noted that when he finally got the bandage/tape off his middle...
San Francisco 49ers crush the Arizona Cardinals in week 8 divisional match up
Monday night’s NFC west divisional showdown saw the San Francisco 49ers go into the University of Phoenix Stadium and completely dismantle the Arizona Cardinals 24-3. The 49ers, on their part, controlled the entire aspect of the game on both offense and defense. They looked as crisp and precise as they have all year, and they dictated the action on nearly every down. The Cardinals...
