The San Francisco 49ers agreed to terms on a one-year deal with wide receiver Brett Swain, according to his agent.
Swain is a former Green Bay Packers seventh-round draft pick who caught six passes for 72 yards with three tackles on special teams two seasons ago.

With the Packers already holding the maximum 12 picks in the upcoming 2012 NFL Draft, the odds would seem to favor seeing the Packers trade-up in one of the early rounds, in exchange for giving up multiple picks in later rounds.
