Tuesday evening, on CNN, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback, Michael Vick, joined Piers Morgan to discuss his autobiography Michael Vick: Finally Free. During the interview, he shared personal details about his downfall as a result of dogfighting, the consequences, including his imprisonment and how that affected his family, his road to redemption, and how he deals with people who may never forgive him.
Here are the 5 most intriguing things he expressed…
1. The hardest moment was having to tell his son that he was being sent away to jail.
2. He loved dogs, yet loved the competition of dogfighting at the same time, in a totally different way.
3. He was on the links having what he felt was the best golf game of his life, when he found out about the raid on his Virginia property.
4. He did not confess the truth of his dogfighting actions to his mother until the day he was arraigned.
5. His three-year ban on owning a dog has expired, and he is leaning towards getting a dog for his children (but not a Pit Bull)
Piers Morgan revealed that when he announced the Michael Vick interview on his Twitter page, he received mixed reaction with some saying that he should not have Vick on his show. He asked Vick how he responds to those people and Vick stated, ‘I overlook it’ and he understands that he can’t change what others think.
Michael Vick appeared on the “Today Show” with Matt Lauer on Tuesday to promote his new book “Finally Free.” In the book, Vick discusses and apologizes for his dog fighting past, and even admits he studied dogs more than his playbook.
The interview seemed to be going well until a few minutes in when Lauer asked Vick about football. The show’s production staff ran some...

According to TMZ.com, the ASPCA doesn’t believe Eagles quarterback Michael Vick should be able to own a dog again, even though his three-year ban is now up, in which he wasn’t allowed to own a dog.
“Vick’s journey toward rehabilitation and redemption has not reflected any direct concern for the wellbeing of animals, and we’ve never heard him express a shred...

But before you overreact like some of the country’s top media outlets have chosen to do, actually understand what Vick was saying is a far cry from the nonsense backup Vince Young spewed last season which declared the Eagles as the NFL’s...

(PhatzRadio / USA Today) — Latest Philadelphia Eagles quarterabck to make a bold offseason proclamation.
Last summer, it was backup Vince Young dubbing the Eagles a “dream team” during his introductory press conference.

It's a sad truth that the NFL seems to be the league with the most arrests among the four major professional sports. Any league that counts Michael Vick, Adam "Pacman" Jones and Donte Stallworth -- to name a few -- among its ranks is not necessarily the most upstanding league in the world. But the amount of arrests that have occurred since the Super Bowl, frankly, is...
In case you’ve missed anything, here’s a round-up of several Philadelphia Eagles news items over the past week or two.
We’re still mired in a slow football news period while we’re all waiting for training camp to begin, which can’t come soon enough. However, there have been several off-the-field newsworthy items regarding current and former Eagles players recently.
The offseason has been busy in the National Hockey Leagues offices, so as part of my parole, I am required to stay away from dogs and educate people about free agency signings. Wait, I thought I was Michael Vick’s blogging brother, Jimmy Vick. I forgot, I’m the guy who’s still making Michael Vick jokes in 2012. I could write for CBS! Anyway, here’s a look at who just signed...
Eagles training camp previewTRAINING CAMP GOALS 1. Determine the identity of their No. 2 quarterback. Michael Vick will head into the season as the team's starter. But Vick has missed three games in each of the last two seasons, and his reckless style of play and body type -- he's a hair under 6-0 and weighs just 210 pounds -- makes it unlikely he'll make it to the...
Those hoping for a repeat performance from Comeback Player of the Year Michael Vick in 2011 were a tad disappointed.
After playing himself into Kevin Kolb’s starting role in 2010, leading the Eagles to their third straight playoff appearance, Vick would go 3-6 in his first nine games in 2011, throwing as many touchdowns (11) as he did interceptions. Despite averaging...
