The Philadelphia Eagles extended their winning record over the New York Giants to 8 of the last 9 with the 19-17 defeat of Big Blue on Sunday Night Football. Philadelphia once again secured the victory in the last moments of the game and denied Eli Manning the opportunity to come alive in the 4th quarter, as has been his calling card in recent games.
Weighing heavily on the Giants, no doubt, is the fact that they are 2-0 in the NFC East, having lost their opening game to the Dallas Cowboys. I know. It’s hard not to smile.
The Eagles now extend their record to 3-1, wit the victories in all three wins secured by a mere four total points.
