Bryant's 62-yard FG Lifts Bucs
Before Sunday had you asked what chance the Buccaneers have to beat the Eagles, most would say a little. If you asked what chance the Bucs have to beat the Eagles on a 62-yard field goal, everyone would have said none. But that is exactly what happened. Trailing 21-20, coach Gruden decided letting his kicker Matt Bryant attempt a 62-yard field goal would be better than throwing a hail mary on the final play of the game. Bryant did not think he would get the chance to become a hero, but he did just that. He crushed the ball with his foot and watched it go through the uprights with room to spare. The field goal was the 2nd longest all-time. Tom Dempsey and Jason Elam share the league record at 63 yards.
