DeSean Jackson - The Main Attraction

Could training camp once again have a T.O. atmosphere? Will all eyes be fixated on the moves, the everything of one player? Does someone on the Eagles have such moxy?

Reports have that one person as rookie DeSean Jackson. Despite being only a few days into training camp practices, Jackson is already winning some praise from McNabb and the coaches on his performance.

From interviews one can see that Jackson is overflowing with confidence in his abilities. His career at Cal backs up the words. Jackson is elusive, dynamic, a game breaking playmaker. Like Westbrook, the slightest opening and he is gone...6 points!

His style will instantly make him a crowd favorite. Eyes will be fixated on him during special team drills, as he runs his WR routes, as he goes for the deep ball with his blazing speed. Cheers will be following his every action. Fans have been yearning for such an attraction since the departure of T.O.

Yes, there will be struggles for Jackson to master the play book and getting time as a rookie on the field. Rookie WRs typically don't see the field much for the Eagles.

But if Jackson can continue his strong performance through the remainder of camp.........

well, everyone's eyes are on him because there aren't a lot of players there that will even make the team.

He has a T.O. type swagger about himself that probably will get the fans hype. The first training camp I attended, was T.O.'s first year here. Everybody there had that feeling of "We're finally going to the Super Bowl!!" because he generated that attitude of 'nobody's better than us'.

I think this team needs a little swagger. Desean Jackson still has to prove himself however.

desean will be fine.... week 1 will show it when he takes his first career punt back for a touchdown.......he wants to make an impact and alot of times when your young and still competing you get much better because you never take a play off... you have people to impress..... and let me mention this... a rookie reciever for the eagles..... will se a lot of action... do you rember freddie mitchell the year he was drafted and w went to the nfc championship against st louis????? yea freddie was the number 3 reciever.... next to small and the other dude we had.... desean will see the field more and more throughout the season

Desean will be great i mean great slot weapon for the eagles. His speed with be very very hard to defend and if he stays healthy he can be a huge gamebreaker for this offense
