I definitely think Jason Witten should be on it and what about Emmet Smith? Or is he to old?
  • From 2000 to 2004 Emmit never ranked above 16th in rushing yardage. His day as a top back were in the 90's.

That's kind of what I thought, nice article. You should do a future team and then we can come back in a few years and see how accurate it was.
  • you are ignorant for putting winslow on the list he hasnt played enough football you are also an idiot for not having tiki barber on the list, his rushing and recieving stats are the same as marshall faulk's
  • Tiki was a very good football player. The reason he is not on the list is th following:
    1. In the 6 years he played from 00-06 he never lead the league in rushing yardage.
    2. From 00-04 he never ranked higher than 8th in rushing yardage.
    3. 06 was his best year in which Shaun Alexander was league MVP and beat him out for the rushing title.
    4. The year after Tiki retired the Giants won the Super Bowl. So you could argue that the team was better without him.
He was a good back, but never did anything exeptional when compared to the oher backs on this list. They all were dominate for at least one season and considered the best back in football for at least one season.
You may want to look at my list again for TE's. I have Gates and Gonzalez as the top two who make 1st and 2nd team. I don't think really any TE will be able to crack the team above those two guys. The other TEs are just for discussion. Perhaps you have a TE that you would put up there.

I kind of agree with manozz, Winslow just hasn't done enough to be on any list like this.
