Duce Staley having number retired as an Eagle "Former Eagle fan favorite Duce Staley will be in town this week and is retiring an Eagle. You may have thought Duuuce retired a year or so ago... I did too. According to this party invite, somebody thinks Duce is getting his number retired. The Duce Is Loose one last time as he is getting his #22 jersey retired at half time of the Eagles/Giants game; then that night it's a celebration of his career."

    The Eagles were foolish not to give him more playing time during his hold out year, but it is nice to know he still connects to his body of work in Philly and not just the ring he got from the Steelers sidelines.

    I cant wait to see Duce on Sunday. I'll be sittin high up, but it will be a meaningful day for the team. Duce was the workhorse for many years in Eagles green.
