The Eagles have finished up their 6th round picks with their second linebacker in a row, Andy Studebaker, an outside linebacker from tiny Wheaton College. He played defensive end in college, but he projects to be a LB in the NFL. Studebaker was voted to the Associated Press Little All-America team as a junior, but as a senior he played only five games before he suffered a sprained foot. As a junior he finished with 17.5 sacks, so he's a big time pass rusher.

Review of Eagles Draft....
Here is what the Eagles did in the draft vs what i thought they should've done in the draft... enjoy
Trade 19th overall pick to Carolina for future 1st rounder in 09 and mid rounders in 08 draft... I like this trade b/c i didn't want them to waste a 1st rounder on Otah. I didn't think they needed a OL that early so i was happy to hear that they pulled this...

How the draft WOULD have gone if Andy Reid had taken his meds.....
this could have been an epic draft for the eagles. but andy got hyperactive.
read about who the eagles WOULD have gotten had they simply done the right thing and stayed where they were.
Next Eagles Pick: safety Quintin Demps
With their second pick in the fourth round, the Eagles take Quintin Demps, a safety from UTEP. He played free safety in college. Can this be the guy that eventually replaces Brian Dawkins?
He had 17 interceptions in his college career, that's a ton.
So Far So Good for the Eagles! WE GOT THE MAN!!!

Eagles Draft
Now that the Draft is over and I have had some time to analyze the picks, I think that the Eagles draft staff did an OK job. Overall I would give them a "B" for their performance this weekend; that being said, there are defiantly some areas where I am not in agreement with their choices. They did not pick up a big standout WR like many of us have been hoping for, what they...
And in the first round the Philadelphia Eagles take...
Someone tell Andy the Eagles should make a pick.

Reid obviously doesn't care anymore.
The 2007 season was supposed to be the year that King Dunlap developed into blocking royalty in the eyes of the NFL. But most of the attention he received was unwanted after he suffered through...
Good Draft Equals Mediocre Season
I like the Eagles draft. I think the moves they made had them at the better end of the deals. The issue I have is a good draft for this team has nothing to do with the regular season this year. I like the offensive tackle they picked up from Pitt, but he won't see much action this year. I also have the feeling this means they still want to try out Winston Justice. Hopefully,...
Let's start another discussion
The Eagles are sitting pretty in day 2 with 9 picks, 2 1st round picks next year, and Lito Shepp. What happens next?
The Eagles have plenty of work left to do on second day of NFL Draft
The Eagles still have a lot of work to do. After trading down twice and selecting a defensive tackle who may have been a reach and a speedy but tiny wideout, the Eagles have nine more selections to make on the second day of the NFL Draft. Chances are, several of them will get traded, but expect the Birds to address needs at safety and offensive line at some point.
Here are their...
What to do with all the picks we still have????
well tomorrow on day two of the draft the EAGLES are sitting very, very good! Don't quote me on it but i belive we still have another ten picks left. The question is what do we do with all ten of them? Do we even want ten picks tomorrow? Ya'll know about as much as i do. Me personally i belive that with us getting the panthers first round pick next year, that gives us alot...
Sheppard painted himself into corner
"Now, the only question is where Sheppard will end up and what the Eagles will get in return. He's got a considerable amount of value because he's still very young, he's got a ton of big-game experience, and when he's healthy he's capable of making game-altering plAY

Studebaker is a small college sack-master who will move from defensive end to rush linebacker as an NFL rookie. Unfortunately, he suffered a sprained right foot halfway through his senior campaign.
