The NBA D-League has announced a change in their playoff system,?according to ESPN.??Here is how the new system works.8 teams make the playoffs (3 division winners +5 teams with the best regular season records)The top seeded division winner gets to choose which wild card team it wants to play. ?Then the second seeded division winner picks who it wants to play, and so onThe first and second round are one and done and the finals are a best of 3 seriesHow exciting a system is this?! ?Its a shame it is wasted on the D-League. ?Just imagine how awesome a selection Sunday would be if the top seeds in the NFL or NBA go to pick who they were going to play. ?Talk about bulletin board material. ?
