Sportsday:
It was a rather unique setting inside the Cowboys locker room today.
So much of the time the talk is about picking up the blitz or wide receivers getting open or the quarterback making a big plays.
Today the talk was about guitar solos and drum beats and serious vocals. Free Reign, the band composed of Marc Colombo, Leonard Davis and Cory Procter, was able to talk music with Daughtry, which will be performing at halftime of the Cowboys-Oakland Thanksgiving game on Nov. 26.
Free Reign and Daughtry posed for some pictures inside the locker room, and the band also took a quick picture with Tony Romo. When you're around football players a lot of the time you lose the perspective of just how big these guys are. As they stood next to Daughtry it was striking to see how big they are compared to "normal" musicians.

Cowboys' confidence in themselves didn't hinge on Atlanta outcoming
So says Tony Romo.
"We understand we're probably not as bad as you guys may have thought we were at certain points of the season,'' Romo told reporters Wednesday in Irving. "When they crown you champion in September and October, you're probably not that good, either. It happens every year.
"I said this to you guys a few weeks back. Go ahead and give...
Why is Tony Romo playing?
I said this a post ago, but why is Tony Romo in this game?
He was just sacked by David Hawthorne, the TCU-ex, and fum, bled at the Cowboys 7. Not only why is he in the game, why is he throwing the ball? The Cowboys are up 28 points. Romo had time to throw before Hawthorne broke free but why put him at risk here?
This makes no sense. They've already pulled Flozell Adams. They...
Could Tony Romo Make Another Pro Bowl This Season?
Following the Cowboys' 17-10 loss to Denver, Tony Romo's popularity sank to Drew Bledsoe-like levels. Two games later, and Romo is once again the quarterback who can make plays out of nothing, which what made Romo so much better than Bledsoe in the first place.
There are a couple of fan ...
Romo still in the game
ARLINGTON - Despite a 28-point lead, Wade Phillips hasn't pulled any starters.
Seattle just recovered a Tony Romo fumble inside the 10. The turnovers, Dallas' first of the game, led to a Seahawks field goal that cut the Cowboys' lead to 38-17 with 8:40 left.
Miles Austin pulling a Tony Romo?
In 2006, the Cowboys were 3-3, scuffling along after a home loss to the New York Giants and Bill Parcells decided to make the switch from Drew Bledsoe to Tony Romo.
The Cowboys won five of Romo's first six starts - and should have been 6-0 if not for a Terrell Owens' drop and wacky ending that led to a game-winning field goal at Washington - and ended up making the playoffs...
Tony Romo to Roy Williams off to slow start
After a promising start to the first drive, the Cowboys stalled when Tony Romo and Roy Williams failed to connect on back to back throws.
Running a deep in on second and 12 from the Dallas 44, Romo's throw to Williams was high, although he managed to get a hand on the pass. On third down, Romo's slant throw to WIlliams was behind him with the Seahawks bringing in a blitz...
Dallas Cowboys' OL part of small group
The Dallas Cowboys plan on starting the same offensive line -- tackles Flozell Adams and Marc Colombo, guards Kyle Kosier and Leonard Davis and center Andre Gurode -- for Sunday's game against Seattle. This group has started every game this season, which is already a noteworthy feat.
The Cowboys are among only eight teams have started the same offensive line in every game this...
Time to pull some of the starters
It's hard to do in the NFL, but it's time to put in the guys on the bench with the score, 35-10.
There's no more need to see Jay Ratliff play on defense with a bruised knee. It's time to put backup lineman Doug Free in the the game. It's time to rest Jason Witten, too.
OK, there you go. Free is in the game for Flozell Adams at left tackle. Is it time to play Cory Procter?

Miles Austin makes it three in a row
Game over.
Miles Austin now has five touchdown catches in the last three games. This was by far his shortest - only 3 yards from Tony Romo in front of Marcus Trufant - and gives the Cowboys a 28-10 lead.
It has been a rough day for Trufant. It's his first game this season because of a back injury and he's been called for pass interference three times and was beat for that touchdown.
