    Well the big difference is that Mamula was probably one of the few players that actually prepared for the combine like a crazy person. I don't think it was viewed in the same light as it is nowadays. So players really didn't prepare for the combine as hard. It paid off for Mamula in the end (where he was drafted) and he wasn't exactly a BUST. He was a decent player with sky high expectations.
