Giants Part Ways With Shockey

The Giants finally traded Jeremy Shockey to the Saints for a 2nd and 5th round draft pick. There's no question that Shockey plays with heart, determination, and desire but his attitude has caused a rift with the organization and teammates. That, along with with the Giants' success without Shockey, Eli Manning's improved play, and the emergence of Kevin Boss sealed his fate.

The Giants have proved that they can beat the best without Shockey and most of Big Blue's fans are ready to move on. Parting ways is the best decision for both sides.
