The Seahawks worked out veteran cornerback Eric Green today according to Adam Caplan. Green played the last three years with the Cardinals. He signed with Miami this offseason, was cut, signed with the 49ers, was cut after three weeks, and is now working out with the Hawks. No shame in that game, I suppose. Green would be a dime back most likely, and would more than likely usurp Travis Fisher's roster spot.

Don't be too hasty to write off Miami Dolphins' Jake Long, Dierdorf says

It has happened to all of them, even the best of them, when they've faced the best. It happened back in the 1970s, when the Cardinals still represented St. Louis and the Rams still represented Los Angeles, and their matchups meant future Hall of Famers Jack Youngblood and Dan Dierdorf sneering at each across the scrimmage line. Dierdorf was so aware of Youngblood's ability...

Seahawks O-Line Prove There's Life Without Jones

It went largely unnoticed in the Seahawks' 28-0 demolition of the lowly St. Louis Rams, but Matt Hasselbeck was untouched. Kudos must go to an offensive line missing two starters, Chris Spencer and Walter Jones. Some will point to the fact it was "only" the Rams. There's no doubt that tougher tests will come in the upcoming weeks, none more so than the difficult trip to San...

2009 Week One Recap: Miami Dolphins at Atlanta Falcons

The Miami Dolphins' opened their season against the Atlanta Falcons last weekend, and it wasn't pretty.
