After a rough end to his season last year, LT seems pumped up and focused going into the 2008-09 NFL season. So what do you think Yardbarkers, is LT still the concensus number one pick in fantasy football, or are there better options?

Either LT or Tom Brady would make safe 1st overall fantasy picks... Adrian Petersen isn't too far behind either. I'd go with Brady though, cuz he has Moss and Welker, a good o-line, and he doesn't get injured.
    • my son loves him!! that was a great write up, thank u!!!

I wonder if he commented on why he cowarded aganist new england as well as indy... How punked out he was scared... Just sat on the bench he is the best rb in football he needs to tough it up and play he had no surgery in the off season ... he was not on crutches after the game... he had no x rays...

See with fantasy it depends how your league is scored... Depends on the number one pick... Sine leagues favor rbs some qb's it all depends on that

I don't have a problem with a player being hurt and having a possibility of ending is career if he does in one game. I do have a problem with him sitting on the sideline sulking when he should have been up exhorting his teammates to victory. If he is a leader, then that's what he needs to be going.

I agree.... He sat on the sidelines feeling sorry for himself instead of being a good teamate and supporting his team... He looked like a baby just sitting there with his helmet on, with it's tinted visor... I can understand how he would be upset about being injured, but he pretty much threw in the towel and quit on his team. He'll have the chance to prove me wrong this upcoming season.

Scared is one thing. Not supporting his teammates in the most important game of the year is another.
