IRVING - The Cowboys will be tough to beat if their offensive line continues to play like it did in the opener against Tampa Bay. "They were outstanding," Jerry Jones said today on his weekly radio show on KLRD-FM 105.3 in Dallas. The Bucs had only one sack against Leonard Davis, Andre Gurode and Co., and it came on a corner blitz by Ronde Barber. The stellar protection was a big reason why Tony Romo had time to throw for a career-best 353 yards and three long touchdowns. It was also the main reason why the Cowboys averaged 4.9 yards per carry. But with all that said, it's way too early to predict greatest for Hudson Houck's charges. Let's wait until we see how they do against the New York Giants' super-deep, super-talented front seven.

Marty B Makes Bucs Miserable

Written by theMBIIIeffect By fantasy standards, Cowboys tight end Martellus Bennett didn’t have a big game against Tampa Bay. He had one catch for 13 yards. That’s one fantasy point in most leagues. He could have given his fantasy owners at least six more points by catching a fade in the end zone from quarterback Tony Romo, who [...]

Monday Night Quarterback: Dallas Cowboys' Run Defense

The Dallas Cowboys impressed with their win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday afternoon. Quarterback Tony Romo looked sharp in the second half and the defense held the Bucs off as the Cowboys won 34-21. But even with a two-touchdown win over a rather, eh, inferior opponent, the Dallas's run defense looked rather pedestrian. Cadillac Williams, coming off of two major knee...

Buccaneers-Cowboys: Dallas Teaches Young Bucs Some Tough Lessons, 45-27

When the Bucs look back at this one against the mighty Dallas Cowboys, they'll focus on four plays. Take away those four plays and the Bucs hold Tony Romo to 121 yds and six points. It was up to Romo to take advantage of those mistakes and he most certainly...
