The New York Jets made a bold trade with the Cleveland Browns to move up from the 17th overall pick in the draft and acquire USC QB Mark Sanchez, ESPN.com reports. The Jets obtained the pick from the Browns and former head  coach Eric Mangini for their first and second-round pick (No. 52), defensive end Kenyon Coleman, safety Abram Elam, and quarterback Brett Ratliff. Sanchez turned out to be their only pick in the entire draft. "I can't promise we're going to win the division," Sanchez said Saturday after the Jets made the former Southern California star the No. 5 overall pick following a trade with Cleveland. "I can't promise we're going to win the Super Bowl and I'm going to be the MVP of the league. "All I can promise is that I'm going to work hard." Is it drafty in here?

This Mangini guy is starting to grow on me. Count me in the camp that likes the draft.Its seems like the biggest not against the Browns draft is that it was boring, with no potential superstars, and I agree, I don't think that this draft is going to produce any superstars. But I think it went a LOOONG way towards filling in any remaining holes and improving the general level...
