The Trib is reporting that LA Developer Ed Roski announced plans today to build a $800 million dollar NFL stadium on land he already owns near Los Angeles. Roski said the stadium could be completed by 2011, the same year the Minnesota Vikings lease expires with the Metrodome. Could we see Adrian Peterson rushing his way to NFL title's with the LA Vikings? LA already took the Lakers from MN, are the Vikings next? The San Diego Chargers would also be an attractive team to move since the 'ol Jack Murphy Stadium is dying quickly. More links and pictures at TheGoldSeat.com

  • Are Ziggy and Roski up to something?
  • Zygi Wilf would be murdered if he moved the Vikings. It will not happen. That's like saying they're going to move the Eagles or the Packers. It just won't be done, the fan base is too big and outspoken.
  • Heres what I have to say, as far as I am concerned the NFL has completely shunned Los Angeles. I grew up watching NFL football since the 1960's. Im a 53 year old man that is tired of the NFL's bullcrap. Rumors about giving one of the largest markets in the country an NFL team. Hey commisioner, stick it where the sun dont shine. And take your NFL shows in LA with you. To say how the NFL has pissed me off. I cant even put into words. But you like to host your shows here. This one's for you punk.

Adrian Peterson - A Mini Biography

Adrian Peterson. Who is he? Is he who we think he is? While I think it's a bit premature to be awarding him the title of the 'next LaDanian Tomlinson' or the 'next Eric Dickerson' let's delve into his history a bit and see if we can discover why he's one of the most talented and exciting rookie runni...

Taylor Runs Over Raiders

Chester Taylor led the Vikes over the Oakland Raiders 29-22. Taylor rushed 22 times for 164 yards and three touchdowns. He also caught three balls for 38 yards. As good as Taylor did, I kept thinking, what would have Adrian Peterson done to these guys?It was a very odd first half. The Vikes first play...

Vikings Defense Ready to Eat Tavaris Jackson After Loss

Something that usually stands true in the NFL is that you have to play the whole game. Sixty Minutes, put it all out there. Adrian Peterson did...the Vikings D played a games worth...Tarvaris Jackson didn't and the Colts didn't have to.

Are you sitting here wondering what on earth happened to Adrian Peterson yesterday? Check out the Star Tribune's article for AP1's comments on how well the 49ers' D shut down his running game. Effort Not Enough as Lions Lose to Vikings 20-16

It looked as if the Lions had a chance to win their first game of the season, but in the end it was the Vikings who came up with the key plays down the stretch. The Lions are so bad that even when they forced two turnovers, and Adrian Peterson has ball security issues, they [...]

Adrian Peterson at the ESPYs

A few things about this clip of Adrian Peterson accepting Best Breakthrough Athlete at the ESPYs. One: That Sophia Bush chick needs a throat lozenge. Two: Zac Efron is an android. Three: Nice shot of Marcus Allen not giving a damn. Four: I love Adrian and all, but I would've rather seen Ana Ivanovic. That's just me. Five: Kyle Busch? It's Best Breakthrough...

Favre and Rodgers: The Conversation

After hours of discussions with Brett Favre, Green Bay Head Coach Mike McCarthy addressed the media earlier today and spoke of a stalemate with the legendary quarterback. Favre never stepped onto the field in a Packers jersey during the past two days and at this juncture it doesn't appear as though he ever will again. Chris Mortensen and Ed Werder may have Favre texting them...

Reggie's Ride

I said it before, and I'll say it again. The reason why I don't like these allegations is because Yahoo! Sports alleges that Reggie was given money to buy a car.Did he get a big black brand-new SUV tricked out Lebron James style like Adrian Peterson, Maurice Clarrett, and DeShaun Foster were driving?...

The Truth about Week 16

If you lost because of Brian Westbrook, it was probably not because of Brian Westbrook. I played a Westbrook owner this past week, and almost won, thanks to poor performances from some of his other players like Terrell Owens and Reggie Wayne. If it hadn't been for Adrian Peterson saving his day, I would have won, most likely by less than the missed-Westbrook touchdown. The...

Breakin It Down: Philadelphia Eagles at Minnesota Vikings

Breakin it down is 5 key stories plus a pick for each postseason game this season. Is it the Iggles or the Eagles?Which team in the NFL has been more inconsistent than the Eagles? It's almost as if they have two seperate teams that they travel with. They beat the Steelers at home and the Giants on the road. They tie the lowly Bengals and get embarrassed by the Ravens. Their offense...

The Vikings will not only have a new QB under center on Sunday, they may just have a new feature back as well. The team is holding its collective breath, as star RB Adrian Peterson missed practice today due to a hamstring issue. "It's a concern," coach Brad Childress said. "Your legs are your legs. We'll just see how he comes out by the time we get to Sunday...

NFL Top Performers - Week 12

"The Other" Adrian Peterson may be the top waiver wire pickup in FFLs this week as Cedric Benson was shelved with a season ending leg injury. Peterson was one of many unexpected RBs in week 12 to produce some nice numbers. Virtually unknown preseason names like Kolby Smith, Andre Hall, and Ryan Gra...

How to charm a snake (draft)

Most fantasy football drafts utilize a "snake" draft where teams pick 1-12 in odd rounds and 12-1 in even rounds. Crafty owners can take advantage of the characteristics of such a draft if their draft position is one, two or three spots from either end. So those owners with the #2, #3, #4, #9, #10 or #11 picks (in a 12-team draft) should pay attention. Here's the situation...

AFC 30, NFC 42

Despite three field goals from Titans kicker Rob Bironas, the AFC could not contain Vikings running back Adrian Peterson and Cowboys receiver Terrell Owens. The AFC lost 30-42 to the NFC. Kyle Vanden Bosch had two tackles for the AFC; Albert Haynesworth had one tackle. Click here for photos of ...
