Leonard Davis showed at Valley Ranch Monday he thought with a jammed right thumb. Turns out it was broken. He will not need surgery. Wade Phillips said Davis suffered the injury in the first quarter at Kansas City and did not miss a snap, so it should not keep Davis out of any game action. Even if the Cowboys did not have the bye this weekend, he likely could play.

Cowboys Sign Rossum

Cowboys agreed to terms with CB/KR Allen Rossum, formerly of the 49ers. It took the 34-year-old one day to find work after being cut by the Niners. Rossum isn't an option at corner anymore, but should adequately replace Patrick Crayton on punt returns. Crayton is swiftly falling out of favor.Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter
