Silent for three quarters, Dallas Cowboys' wide receiver Miles Austin silenced the full house at Lincoln Financial Field with his first catch of the game. On a third-and-14 play, Austin got behind cornerback Sheldon Brown. Wtih the protection picking up a blitz, quarterback Tony Romo hit Austin in stride. He pulled away from Brown, evaded safety Quintin MIkell and ran in for a 49-yard touchdown play. Romo had thrown to Austin only twice previously. It was his fourth catch of 40-plus yards for the season.
