A league source tells us that Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett will earn $3.5 million to $4 million per year as part of a four-year contract to stay with the team.
That's clearly the richest deal for any NFL assistant coach, and substantially more than many head coaches.
In Dallas, the problem is that Garrett could now be making more money...

Jason Garrett chose to run back to Jerry Jones because he is afraid to run a team. Why not? Jerry Jones is paying him $3M to never get blamed in Dallas. Wade Phillips, Tony Romo and others will eat the blame before Garrett does.
