The 10 NFL Running Backs Paid More Than Brian Westbrook
TEAMS: Philadelphia Eagles

As Brian Westbrook looks to renegotiate his deal, I took a look at the 2008 Cap numbers for all NFL running backs. While the list isn't surprising necessarily, it is surprising to see where Westbrook fits in. Is there any question that he's not at least the 2nd most valuable guy on this list? NOTES: LAST NAMES ACCEPTED AS RESPONSES, AND THIS LIST DOESN'T INCLUDE FREE AGENTS SHAUN ALEXANDER AND LAMONT JORDAN, BOTH OF WHOM HAD HIGHER CAP NUMBERS THAN WESTBROOK.

    this just isnt right, but BWest did sign the contract. If he didnt pan out to be such a great player, Im so sure he would be asking the Eagles to refund some of his income...With that being said, he has out performed his contract to SUCH a degree, he does deserve a raise, just not to the tune of $30 mil or anywhere even close at his age. Give him somethin to make him happy...I just knew when the Eagles made the trade for baby Bwest (booker) that the man was not gonna be happy....

    This is stupid, we all know here that brian westbrook is the best Runningback in the NFC without question, and he's the best all around back in the league, he deserves to be paid like it, 9 million a year shouldn't be hard for the Eagles to dish out to the best of the best.

    80%.........was more "tedious" than I thought, missed Ronnie Brown and Deuce, although I would have never thought of Deuce (would have though of Reggie Bush before him)

    If a RB just signed a new contract he's not gonna make as much in his first year as he would in his last because they are progressive. Whatever Duece is makin, I hope its in his latter half of his contract, cause he makes too much to be the front part of a contract.

    I just ran down every running back I could think of, but this quiz is old. Larry Johnson is making a lot of money now and of course Jones-drew just signed a big contract. So this is definitely out of date.
