TEAMS: Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs, New York Giants
IRVING - Igor Olshansky does his work in a quiet, professional manner, and he does it quite well, according to Wade Phillips.
The defensive end was one of the unsung heroes of the OT win at K.C., recording
three tackles, six assists, two pressures and a sack.
"Igor has been a great addition for us," Phillips said. "I think the (Chiefs) running back, Larry Johnson, had 1.8 yards per carry. They didn't make much running, really. Their quarterback made most of the yardage, with scrambles. And Igor is a big part of that, and he gave us the pressure on the quarterback and the quarterback sacks."
The Cowboys acquired Olshansky, a former Charger, in free agency to replace Chris Canty, who signed with the Giants. Olshansky is a Phillips guy, having played for Phillips when he was the defensive coordinator at San Diego.
"Igor has fit in well," Phillips said. "I said that last week, he fit in with the group well, and he played really well for us."

Is Roy Williams jealous of Miles Austin's monster day?
Reading between the lines, it sure sounded like it Monday when Williams was asked about Austin's 10-catch, 250-yard, two-touchdowns performance in the 26-20 overtime win at Kansas City.
Williams said he wasn't surprised Austin had a big day, considering that the Chiefs entered the game ranked 28th against the pass.

Zero life from the sideline
If you're looking for some life from the sideline, I'm not seeing anything.
I see the offensive line just sit there looking disinterested. I see Tony Romo and Jason Garrett going over the previous series with the pictures but there doesn't seem to be much life. I see the same from the defense when the offense is on the field.
The only player to do anything is Keith...

Life from the sideline
After spendingmost of the game watching from the sideline when the defensive is on the field, Tony Romo is standing close to the field, urging his teammates on.
I know you guys want to see that and I know I blogged about zero life on the sideline previously. Maybe there is some life on that sideline after all.

Cowboys Sign Rossum
Cowboys agreed to terms with CB/KR Allen Rossum, formerly of the 49ers. It took the 34-year-old one day to find work after being cut by the Niners. Rossum isn't an option at corner anymore, but should adequately replace Patrick Crayton on punt returns. Crayton is swiftly falling out of favor.Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter
