Sportsday:
Since the Cowboys' last game, Patrick Crayton lost his starting wide receiver spot and his punt return job.
He responded with the third two-touchdown game of his career. He caught a 5-yard touchdown pass from Tony Romo to close the first half and he closed out the game with a 73-yard punt return that made it 34-14 with 8:38 left to play.
But Crayton was not gloating or feeling vindicated.
"I'm pleased that we got the win," Crayton said. "That's what matters."
He was also glad to get the first punt return score of his career, going untouched through a gigantic hole up the middle of the field.
"I can sleep better tonight because of that," Crayton said. "I was pressing to get one because I really wanted to get one for Joe D. [special teams coach Joe DeCamillis]. You break your neck and don't miss a practice? That tells you something about the man."

Cowboys make three trips to Red Zone, get one TD
Earlier in the week, David Moore wrote about the Cowboys' inefficiency in the Red Zone this season and if you look at stats from the 37-21 win over Atlanta you would find only one touchdown in three Cowboys trips to the red zone.
So, did they make progress? Well, yes. The Cowboys got points off every red zone opportunity, a pair of field goals from Nick Folk and a touchdown...
Tony Romo is not a robot
A few weeks ago there was a notion that the Cowboys were coaching the instincts out of Romo, that they wanted him to be a robot in the pocket, like some sort of electric football piece.
"That's the challenge for any quarterback playing in this league," assistant head coach Jason Garrett said. "It's always about your decision making. It's all about being...
Tony Romo getting a massage
The Cowboys just forced a three-and-out defensively, which might not be a good thing for Tony Romo at the moment.
The medical staff is giving him a neck rub with some sort of Ben Gay or balm to help his neck. He is up now looking at pictures of the previous drive as the Cowboys prepare for their third series of the day.
I guess the good thing is that we are in between quarters...

Same old Cowboys when it comes to pre-snap penalties
ARLINGTON - On Dallas' second possession, RG Leonard Davis and TE Jason Witten got flagged for back-to-back false starts, resulting in a third-and-18 from the Cowboys' 34.

Austin, Cowboys run away from Falcons
Tony Romo returned to his swashbuckling style, keeping drives alive by improvising and turning one near-disaster into a touchdown, and Austin proved his breakout game was no fluke by coming up with big play after big play, leading the Dallas Cowboys to a 37-21 victory over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
Over Two Weeks of Good Vibes Continue
As if the game yesterday wasn't enough to get you feeling really good about the Dallas Cowboys for the first time all year, Demarcus Ware's deal today capped off what has been an enjoyable 15 days. I know I have to remind myself once in a while to enjoy the good moments because there will be bad times down the road and I take the losses harder than I enjoy the wins. I'...
