Patriots Add Receiver

As receiver Deion Branch continues his holdout, the Patriots decided to find another receiver. They picked up Doug Gabriel from the Raiders for a fifth round draft choice. The 26-year old has 71 career catches for 1,122 yards and five touchdowns. Gabriel should help the Patriots outside passing game. This move should make the Patriots more willing to trade Branch, who has received offers from the Seahawks and Jets.
