Lynchy Right Now:
Three months ago the sports world was focused on New England; The Red Sox coming off a second World Championship since 2003, the Boston Celtics were running roughshod over the NBA and the New England Patriots were approaching the greatest season in NFL history, ahhh wasn't it good to live in the epicenter. Then came the Super Bowl, the Pats coughed up a shot at history, pitchers and catchers hadn't began to report, and the dog days of the NBA were ahead of us, the media adjusted and moved out of Beantown. Well I'll say it, WELCOME BACK!

New 1st round NFL Mock Draft.
The NFL Draft is only a couple weeks away. For me its better then Thanksgiving ( well maybe not this year cause the Jets play) and Christmas combined. It's a two day affair where I lie down and do nothing besides wait to see who gets picked next. For some people it's a drug the NFL draft. For others they could really care less. If you could care less then need not read any...
Celtics News
- In my quest to be the last Celtics themed blog to bring you important Boston Celtics news I've held off on this until now. Apparently Danny Ainge's conversation with Kevin Durant's mom was a bad idea. In fact the C's were fined. On the bright side I was ahead of the curve when it came to documen...
Jesus Delivers Redemption - Celtics Rise to Win 97-91
In a game that tested both our will and spirit, Ray Allen, in a beatific 48 minutes of basketball, led our Boston Celtics to the greatest comeback in NBA Finals history. Yes, Dear Reader(s), Our Sensei fell in battle, nearly torn apart by the struggle, but his brothers-in-arms carried the load , willing victory. The Mighty Jesus was there the whole time - maybe it was to remind us...
The Farewell Isiah Fiesta
The New York Post is reporting that on Monday night, the Knicks will host the Boston Celtics in the last game at Madison Square Garden of the season and perhaps the last time Isiah Thomas will step foot inside the Garden for a good while… AND Hoping to raise this season’s sell-out count to 20, [...]

That?s what Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett displayed at halftime of the Orlando loss.
?All I know,? said Boston coach Doc Rivers, who as a rule joins the players in the lockerroom after granting them a five-minute cooling off period at halftime, ?is that when I came in, Rondo and Garnett were both standing in front [...]
Heat Use Big Run To Get Past Injury Depleted Celtics
Boston Celtics: The Miami Heat used a 16-4 run in the third quarter and then held off the injury depleted Boston Celtics to win 107-99 in Miami. It’s the second straight loss for the Celtics. Dwayne Wade continued his great run over the past few games by hitting a three pointer to ensure a Heat [...]
celtics dancers
I'll be honest. I feel bad for Lakers fans because the Celtics are about to dash your dreams into a million pieces. As a gesture of good will… here's a slide show of the Boston Celtics Dancers… courtesy of WBZ
Where In The World Is Anderson Varejao?
Anderson Varejao looks and plays like a bizarro Joakim Noah to me. That being said, you may have noticed (but probably not, because you have been so focused on LeBron James) that the Cleveland Cavaliers have been without Varejao since the beginning of the 2007-08 NBA season. His absence did not hurt the Cavs much last night as they knocked off the NBA's best team, the Boston...
At least Jared Jeffries didn't have to give #20 back!
Not long after Jared Jeffries joined the New York Knicks last year as yet another one of President of Basketball Operations Isiah Thomas' $30 million dollar projects,
Jeffries sought out then-retired Knicks guard Allan Houston in order to request if he could use Houston's #20 for his tenure with the Knicks. Houston, humbled by the younger Jeffries request, gave this blessing...

Celtics Get Jazzed
Deron Williams and the Utah Jazz were too much to handle tonight for the Boston Celtics as they lost 110-92 in front of a packed house at the TD BankNorth Garden on Friday night. The loss for the Green ended their 10-game winning streak.
The Celtics lost Ray Allen at the end of the first quarter wit...
Injuries Slow Celtics - Accentuate Rondos Awesomeness
Injuries are sweeping through the Boston Celtics locker-room quicker than the Rage Virus infected London in 28 Days Later. Since their February 8th home-defeat against the Spurs, the Celtics have lost Tony Allen, Kevin Garnett, Brian Scalabrine, Rajon Rondo and Big Baby Davis to one ailment or ...
From Garnett to Joe Smith
Kevin Garnett is out injured for 2 to 3 weeks and the Boston Celtics are on the hunt for victories and a replacement player.
The good news is they found a victory with Rajon Rondo leading the charge. Rondo had 32 points to lead the Garnettless Celtics against the Amare-less Suns.
On the replacement player front, the Boston Celtics are looking at
Joe Smith at Oklahoma City. Joe...
