  Hard to maintain good stats when your offensive line has more holes than swiss cheese. Rex made some big blunders, but he also set some records and came up big in other big situations. Plus, he has a cannon for an arm.

    I agree. Rex has more talent and potential than pretty much all of the QBs the bears have had since McMahon. The line did not let him get his feet set- which is when Rex was most productive. Give Rex all day like Brady and Manning have had in the past and he would be deadly. I can't lie I was a supporter of Rex, but having Jay coming in this season helps fan morale.

  The Bears where stupid for giving up Rex!!! He is the best QB EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he is so awesome! i know he has had some bad games but when he's into it, he's GOOD!!!!!! The Bears are stupid for letting go of him!!! i wish Rex makes it to a team and kills the Bears everytime!!!!!! BEARS SUCK FOR DOING THAT!!!!! i am a Bears fan but this pissed me off!!!

  Rex grossman's success people have to remember came on a team that, lets face it, has never been an offensive powerhouse. A run block line at best, weak receivers, and even worse offensive play calling spelled his demise in chicago. We can debate whether he's great or sucks but really for a bears qb he did extremely well in my opinion. Id like to see what he would do on a real team with real offensive minds, rather than ron turner and smith, who both it seems dont know what their doing more often than not. Their mental blunders were more often than rex's, people are just too dumb to realize it and instead put it all on him. Fans and people who care should know that there was a reason why so many of his teamates liked and respected him, and wanted him to start over orton last year. Because they knew the real rex grossman and what he was capable of. Funny thing for all those calling for orton was that the offense stunk even worse and they didnt have 1 pass over 30 yards the whole season. I mean really, they dump it off to forte over 100 times because orton cant get it to hester and that makes orton better than rex? hmmmm.......
