I did see Roy up at the OU spring game and he did look like he had lost a little weight. Don't know if it's 30 pounds, but that would definitely help him as a safety.

I hope so. I think he is plenty aware that his job is in jeopardy

Yeah.......I think he got the message last year when they didn't want him in there in the nickel packages. At least, I hope he got the message.

lets hope he didnt...i love seein old roy back deep (LMAO)

Only deep person your team is going to see Wooda is T.O. running behind your secondary. LMAO

again.

I hope so, but thirty pounds? That is a lot of weight. He may see negative effects from that much weight loss. Besides, I am really high on Watkins and I'd love to see him get a real chance this season. In order for that to happen Hamlin will have to move down. I have pretty much given up on Roy. He has gotten steadily worse each of the last three seasons. For the last two he has been a liability.

Jenkins can play corner or safety, so I'm not too worried. Watkins is emerging as a good corner guy, too. If Pacman works out, nobody is going to have to much luck against that secondary.

Couldn't work out better. With the cost of safties skyrocketing and corner already being the highest priced position we were going to have a problem next season with both corners and our starting safety needing deals. We won't have the room to hide some bonuses in this season's cap like we did last year with Romo and Crayton's. If we have to let a safety go, so be it.

Well, we've got one good year, but I'm sure they will get it worked out and keep the best athletes. I'm sure one will have to go. Probably Roy if he doesn't have a decent year.

He was up to 260 in the offseason, so this still isn't much of anything.

He didn't look 260 when I saw him last month. Looked like he had dropped a few pounds.
