I have long been following the rapid increase of Blue Equity's share of the Sports & Entertainment pie. I have had the unique opportunity of meeting Donald Dell and speaking to chairman Jonathan Blue and COO Mike Principe in the past. That being said, I am very happy for the entire company on the unveiling of a new entity that will bring together all of Blue Equity's sports properties: BEST (Blue Entertainment Sports Television). Blue Equity started making headlines in the sports world when it initially bought out NBA agent Bill Strickland, who has since added Corey Brewer to his list of clients that include Rasheed Wallace, Brevin Knight, and Malik Allen. From there, Blue Equity acquired the services of NFL agent Joel Segal, Donald Dell and SFX, and a plethora of other entities. In the middle of 2007, I anointed Blue Equity as the newest conglomerate alongside IMG, CAA, and WMG. At this point, Blue Equity may be close to being above them all, making it the BEST.

Ray Allen Snubbed Not Once, but Twice

It was finally decided that KG would not play in the All Star game and most people expected Ray Allen to be named as his replacement as he was the most obvious snub from the initial subs that were named. Doc had said that he would love to have Ray on his team. David Stern names the replacements when a player is injured and he chose the Pistons' Rasheed Wallace to replace KG....

Pistons beat short-handed Spurs

AUBURN HILLS -- Before Richard Hamilton stuck the dagger in the Spurs' heart, Rasheed Wallace and the Pistons' defense buckled their knees.

Houston Hardens, Beat Detroit 80-77

There it was for the taking. With 11.4 seconds left and the Pistons coming back from 14 down, the game was in the balance. With the Rockets holding a 79-77 lead, both Rasheed Wallace (21 points, 8 rebounds) and Chauncey Billups had shots from three that could have stolen this game. A day after Rocket...

Pistons should trade for Shaq

NBA Obsessed takes you into the hit and run game of NBA Basketball. Teammates? Can you see it? Rasheed Wallace joking with Shaq before the game? A front line of Tayshaun Prince, Wallace, and Shaq? Yeah, you are right; it probably has a zero chance of happening. But how cool would it be, if it did? Ju...

Billy Donovan Turns His Back On Magic

I think almost everybody has already stated the fact that coaching a bunch of runny-nosed kids who shut up and do as they're told is a breeze compared to coaching multi-million dollar players with attitude problems. Truth be told, it is. I would take coaching Joakim Noah and Corey Brewer any day than coaching Allen Iverson or Rasheed Wallace. However, everyone seems to have forgotten...

Brewer and Yi Dominate Players ... and chairs

Interesting article about the pre-draft workouts of Corey Brewer and Yi Jianlian. Corey Brewer has been matching up against Al Thornton, while Yi Jianlian has been competing against, get this, a chair.

Sacramento Kings 100, Minnesota Timberwolves 93

The T-Wolves just didn’t have enough gas left in the tank to pull out this victory. Al Jefferson led the way for the Timberwolves with 17 points, 12 rebounds and 2 assists. Rashad McCants had another solid game with 16 points and 4 rebounds. Corey Brewer stuffed the stat sheet with 15 [...]

Redd to Cleveland?

The Racine Journal-Times is reporting that the Bucks have been "gauging the interest" that other teams have in Michael Redd. There's a new sheriff in town (GM John Hammond) and he'll want to reshape the team. The Bucks have some talent, but clearly there wasn't much chemistry there and changes have to be made. Keep in mind that Hammond comes from Detroit, where...

BigMck

Thanks to Kevin Garnett’s heart and toughness (along with Corey Brewer’s inability to make a simple inbound pass), the Celtics stole an 87-86 victory tonight over the lowly Timberwolves. Perk’s (21 pts, 3 blks) offensive rebound and put-back with 16 seconds left proved to be th...

Pistons are going to beat up the competition!

The Detroit Pistons, San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Mavericks are all tied for number one record in the NBA. This Detroit team is undeniably the best however, because we have Rasheed Wallace, Ben Wallace, Tayshaun Prince and Chauncey Billups. They are a powerhouse and no matter who ends the season in t...

Pistons home cooking?

- from FOXSports.comDetroit's Larry Brown, Rasheed Wallace, Carlos Arroyo, Chauncey Billups and Lindsey Hunter look to the comforts of home for Game 5 against Indiana. The Eastern Conference semifinals series is tied at 2-2.

We have overrated this team's talent

Everyone says "This team is one of the most talented in the East."I beg to differ.EVERY team in the NBA is loaded with talent, with a nice core. I'll go randomly:Miami: Shawn Marion, D.Wade, Ricky Davis, Haslem, Jason Williams, Dorrell WrightMInnesota: Al Jeff, Corey Brewer, Rashaad McCants, Randy Fo...
