The disrespect continues: Titans ranked 20th in SI Power Rankings

The beginning of the 2008 season is months away and already, the Titans have been given some bulletin-board material.

Following a draft that's been universally panned by the majority of NFL pundits, the Titans continue to get the short end of the stick when it comes to the opinions of the national sports media.

According to veteran sportswriter Peter King, the Titans are ranked #20 in the first installment of his NFL power rankings for the 2008 season.

20 is being nice, this is coming from somebody who lives in tennessee.

Sound more than fair to me. I wouldnt have been so generous. I have them much further back, Tennessee has major issues on both sides of the ball.

Considering the Titans were a playoff team last season, I find #20 to be a bit low for them. As I said in the article, I also disagreed with the placement of the Texans at #19, which indicates that King thinks that the Titans are destined for last place next season.
