Buffalo Bills special teams player Kevin Everett underwent emergency neck surgery on Sunday night after being injured during the opening game of the season against the Denver Broncos.Everett was taken off the field on a stretcher after colliding with Broncos returner Domenik Hixon during the second-half kick-off.
