re Moats: if you can't pick up the blitz then you can't get on the field with this team as a running back (see Hunt, Tony -rookie season). I'm not positive, but I thought a big part of the issue with Moats was his propensity to fumble. I do remember those good games he had -he's quick, shifty, and dangerous as a runner- but if you're putting the ball on the ground, the coaches won't keep you in there...does anyone know how big of a deal the fumbles were, or am I just imagining this issue?

You know, I was thinking the same thing, but when I looked up the total number of fumbles, he's only had two in his career. But 2 out of 77 is still pretty bad.
Also, I believe his fumbling problem was a huge problem in practice, training camp and preseason. But you're right about the blitz pickup- that's the number one reason he's most likely not going to make it out of camp.
