As we've said before, Buffalo Bills runningback Marshawn Lynch is top dog when it comes to an athlete blogging on Yardbarker. There are those, however, who do not truly appreciate his writing style, finding it hard to read and understand. But, surely, they do not possess the same higher level of Cal education that Marshawn carries around.
We may not have Cal degrees, either, but we have taken the pleasures, the pains, and the many sleepless nights to decipher and translate what Marshawn i...

The fact is, going out of your way to write "dis" instead of "this" repeatedly to try to sound tough or thugg-like is both childish and immature. Sadly, when he is interviewed on television, his grammar is even worse.
Why bother writing a blog if you don't actually try to write?
It's worse than reading an entry that uses only text message shorthand and emoticons.
Stick to running Marshawn.
At least you can do THAT correctly.

Whew.
Fo a second I didn't think you were qualified to post.
Please.
Freedom of speech?
Sure. Freedom of ignorance too?
MY OPINION is just that and is just as cogent as yours , despite your need to validate yourself by waving your supposed credentials. What degrees you or I hold is irrelevant.
And again, in my opinion, Marshawn makes himself both sound and look like an unintelligent, uneducated street corner thug by perpetuating his ebonics-style "slanguage", and I know for a fact this has cost him at least one sponsorship deal.
His prerogative.
As far as I'm concerned , defending illiteracy is unbecoming, no matter whose mouth it is coming out of.
Sadly, too few in this country care, which is why we have a nation of underachievers who believe that just because they can catch a football or toss a basketball that education doesn't matter, which has helped lead us to the lowest percentage of high school graduates in almost 20 years.
While Marshawn and his brethren in professional sports aren't solely responsible,
when supposed role models perpetuate this stereotype, they help continue this cycle.
And, sadly, my job requires me to watch these overpaid athletes, so i must be subjected to their apparent lack of intelligence, day in and day out. If they could speak as well as they played, i'd have the best job in the world.
