you love Fat Albert, dontcha? He's pretty solid, but we'll need a TACKLE at some point, not a guard. Think about it...we have our future at the guard positions. MJG at left guard, Big Kid at right guard...if either of them goes down, we have Herremans (Thomas' eventual replacement) to plug in.

I'd rather see Phillips or Morgan so Dawk can take em under his wing...if we MUST go lineman then its DEFINITELY Williams if hes there, or Otah

I don't think the Eagles are going to have their 1st round pick come April 26th. I think it will be part of some trade for a #1 WR. Like Anquan Boldin who looks like he has to be traded or Chad Johnson. But if the Eagles don't trade it they probably will get an O-line, DE ,or that CB (forgot name) that Dallas really wants which would allow us to part with Lito and piss off Dallas.

Something tells me Jeff Otah if hes available.. but hoping for Sweed

i like brandon albert too. I think the eagles could pick him up and look at possibly sliding big kid out to tackle where i think he would be just as good. I like Sweed too as much as anyone but i just dont see the eagles spending a first round pick on a WR. Phillips would be a good pick but i dont think he will be there at 19 and the same goes for Williams and Otah.

Because Dawk, contrary to popular belief, IS mortal. We won't need a safety this season, but think what a young talented kid could gain from Dawk's tutelage. When we lose Dawk...we will have a giant giant void in the secondary. Hes really all we got at hte safety position right now, he makes mediocre guys playing next to him look good

the Eagles have a stock pile of picks this year and a need at either the tackle or defensive line position..i think it all depends on what happens with Lito..I think the Eagles could very well(much to the chagrin of most of the people on this site) package Lito and their first pick and try move up to pick Ryan Clady or stay put and pick up whatever their highest rated player is still on the board

Why Clady? Williams will be there at 19 and they're apparently in love with him. I'm callin it now though...they won't go for a lineman in the 1st round and we will all be shocked.

There is not a WR in the draft that can be considered a number receiver. A drafted receiver will not be able to handle the pressure of learning Philly's version of the WCO. So please stop with is drafting of a number one receiver. It's not going to happen. If that were the case, Reggie Brown would be our number one. Some of you need to look at the Eagles track record for drafting WR's. In case you genius' haven't figured out, comprehending an NFL offense like the WCO is not easy. The Eagles should be concentrating on trading for Chad Johnson. He is the only other option available. And if another person says the Eagles should draft DeSean Jackson, I'm going to scream. The Eagles already have a DeSean Jackson..his name is Greg Lewis! Some of you just come up with solutions that do not make sense. And if I hear Chad Johnson is a cancer...need I remind you folks of how T.O. has been on his best behavior since he's been in Dallas. It's easy to label someone a cancer due his current behavior. I dont understand alot of pplz love affair with Tony Hunt... but if you look at the situation, Buckhalter is on his last year of his contract, Moats is also, and he is always injured, Tony Hunt may be a good breaker but will never start for us, its jus not gunna happen, and Westbrook is not only getting older, but he is extreamly overused... unless we use this pick to pickup a Stud wide reciver in a trade, i think we should get ourselves an insurance policy, cuz we all know if b. west goes down, thats basically our season in a nutshell.... Jonathan Stewart is going to be a stud running back for some team.... and alot of draft have him lasting to just b4 our pick.. i say if he is there get him... not only is he going to be our insurance on a positive season but also, he is westbrooks opposite in attributes.....
i then, like i said if this pick dosent get traded,... trade up in the second round to grab Gosder Cherilus, OT, Boston College..... the guy is a beastly size, and is the type of player who could do well sitting behind to Probowl guys named Jon Runyan and William Thomas, and provide us with the future the Eagles Organization seems to be focused on....
