Who Is The NFL's Top Young Back?

A lot of questions are "Who is the best young QB in the league right now?". Well, I'm gonna show some love to the running backs. So the question is...Who is the best young running back in the NFL? To be considered "young", under my qualifications, this season must be the 3rd year of your NFL career or younger. So here are my candidates:

Reggie Bush, Saints

Joseph Addai, Colts

Laurence Maroney

Adrian Peterson, Vikings

Marshawn Lynch, Bills

Maurice Jones-Drew, Jaguars

Cadillac Williams, Bucs

Ronnie Brown, Dolphins

Frank Gore, 49ers (Wow!, didn't know this is only his 3rd year and was a 3rd rounder)

Cedric Benson, Bears

As for my pick, I'll take Gore, Addai, and then Adrian. Gore showed he's one of the NFL's elite backs last year, Addai has been solid and was the only rookie for over 1000 rushing yards last year, and Peterson's been great so far and has such a high ceiling, but I have questions about his health so I'll take the safer picks.

If you think I'm missing a back who belongs, let me know!

What about Jerious Norwood on the Falcons? I wouldn't take him compared to the other guys but he should be up on the list

I think he is a good young back and personally I wouldn't take him, but I guess some people might say he deserves to have his name with those backs.

idc who calvin johnson is the best young player out there

adrian peterson... he's the man, but hey im a lil biased!!! boomer sooner!!!

Peterson looks great so far, but what about the Chargers Michael Turner? Just starting his fourth season, none of which as a starter obviously. But if LT went down I think we'd see a star in the making.

If I had to take one guy on that list to be my featured back and take 25 carries per game I'd take Gore, or Marshawn Lynch. But just in case I'm being biased for bay area athletes... Adrian Peterson would be my runner up.

Gore right now but Peterson may surpass him. Ronnie Brown has been a monster as of late but I want to see him do that for an entire season.

I don't want to say hes the best, but im gonna go with my bionic man Frank Gore. Hes got ridiculous strengthen and speed, and once he gets out to the secondary...its finished.

I would have to agree with alot of the other people on here that A.P. from Oklahoma is the best young back.He is the NFL leading candidate for the rookie of the year.Coming out of college there were alot of Questions about whether he could stay healthy.I think so far,he has shown what kind of player he can be when healthy.

I'll go with Joseph Addai since he's in the best situation and has proven himself. Adrian Peterson looks good in the first few games but it's not a guarantee that he'll play like this all year. Obviously Reggie Bush's got the most hype during the past 2 years, but he is more of a fast returner/receiver gadget player than a full-time running back.

Im surprised no one has said Ronnie Brown yet. He is being overshadowed because the Dolphins are no good, but he has the most fantasy points and is running very tough and doing a great job.

so it's gore and AP
