(By Tom Sorensen, firstname.lastname@example.org) Somebody likes the Panthers. I'm not talking about officials. Officials neither like nor dislike them. I'm talking about whomever is responsible for the weather. Sunday afternoon, like the Sunday that preceded it, was ideal for football or anything else. Cool to hang with fans before the game. Carolina cornerback Captain Munnerlyn ran Minnesota receiver Percy Harvin out of bounds and Harvin went way out of bounds, all the way to the Panthers' metal bench. Harvin objected and he and Munnerlyn really went at it. They're athletic, tough, intense and not very big. Harvin was the lone Vikings presence on Panthers turf but would not back down. The two have a history; both are three-year pros from the SEC. Fans saw something nobody else ever has. They saw the first NFL scuffle between players named Captain and Percy.
